In the closed (overlapping) position the Zebra shade diffuses all incoming light, giving the room a warm glow. When the ZebraShading opaque vanes are overlapped light is filtered into the room through the sheer fabric sections allowing for a comfortable environment. The Sheer has a slight moire view to it as it filters light through it.
